Security Officer Top Up Course

Any company engaging in guarding work to secure a structure or location may require trained security personnel qualified as security officers with a SIA licence. It is intended for students who already possess a Security Industry Authority (SIA) security officer licence and need to get current on the new license-linked qualification criteria.

All people who want to operate in the private security sector must complete a recognised qualification before applying for a licence, according to the Private Security Industry Authority Act of 2001.

To satisfy the demands of the Security Industry Authority, the HABC Level 2 Award for Working as a Security Guard within the Private Security Industry (QCF) was created (SIA). It offers the necessary skills and information for learners who intend to apply for the SIA Licence and is based on the pertinent SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications.
